DS usará tecnología de reconocimiento de escritura
A los ya variados usos que tiene la pantalla táctil de la consola Nintendo DS tendremos que añadir pronto uno más: el reconocimiento de la escritura. Nintendo ha pagado a Zi Corporation para poder usar su tecnología Decuma en futuros títulos para DS. La gama de productos Decuma está formada por Decuma Alphabetic, que entiende inglés, francés, castellano, alemán, italiano y otros idiomas occidentales; Decuma Chinese para el chino simplificado y el tradicional, y Decuma Japanese, que admite Kanji, Haragana y Katakana.
El máximo responsable tecnológico de Zi Corporation, Milos Djokovic, ha explicado: "Como los líderes en consolas portátiles en todo el mundo, Nintendo tiene la reputación de adoptar tecnologías innovadoras que mejoran la experiencia de usuario en sus productos. Con Decuma, los usuarios de DS experimentarán el reconocimiento de escritura que sólo podían disfrutar hasta ahora los usuarios de PDA y smartphones. Zi sigue ofreciendo sus productos de entrada multimodales a los principales teléfonos móviles, plataformas de juego y smartphones del planeta."

Nuevos detalles de Ash
Es el juego para Nintendo DS del creador de Final Fantasy.
En una entrevista con la revista japonesa Famitsu, Hironobu Sakaguchi, creador de la saga Final Fantasy y ahora "emancipado" de Square Enix y al frente de su nuevo estudio, ha desvelado algunos detalles sobre Ash -Archaic Sealed Heat-, su primer juego de rol para la consola Nintendo DS.
En el juego controlaremos a Aisha, una reina que se queda sola después de que su reino sea quemado, pero pronto ve cómo sus antiguos súbditos vuelven a la vida de un modo un tanto peculiar. El sistema de combate combinará el juego de rol por turnos con la estrategia, dando órdenes con el stylus.
Los gráficos estarán realizados en tres dimensiones, combinando imágenes medievales pero con un toque de revolución industrial -de hecho, el personaje principal usa un rudimentario rifle como arma-. El diseño de los personajes es obra de Mideo Minaba (autor de los de FFXI y FFXII), mientras que la música es de Hitoshi Sakimoto (Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story y FFXII). El juego saldrá en navidades del año que viene en Japón.

Por cierto, ¿qué opinais de la Game Boy Micro?
Desde luego me parece lo más absurdo que ha hecho Nintendo en sus años de vida. Teniendo ya dos modelos de GBA y además la DS que es el cuadruple de potente y compatible con cartuchos de GBA, sacan otra consola más sólo compatible con GBA y GBC, a un precio muy cercano al de la DS y tan pequeña que incluso cuesta mirar la pantalla para jugar.
No sé... ¿nos han visto cara de tontos o qué?

Esta claro que esto lo han sacao pa vender
Dentro de poco sacaran la GBA SHIT EDITION y la gente lo comprara...asi somos...

bueno, esto es algo que yo vengo pensando desde que salio el DS
¿para que sacar otra version del GBA si ya esta el DS?
piensen, si sacaran un nuevo GBA y sacaran juegos para este, y tambien del mismo para DS ¿cual comprar?
creo que DS deberia ser la unica portatil de nintendo apartir de ahora, no sacar un GBA 2, porque si no, no creo que la gente se compre 2 portatiles......
¿para que sacar otra version del GBA si ya esta el DS?
